- Expand public transportation routes and levels of service

- Expand para-transit for the disabled throughout the region

- Improvements to I-81

Bluefield
- Widen South College Avenue (from Valley Dale Street to Tazewell Avenue) to four lanes to address substandard geometry and a projected capacity issue

- Reconstruct Hockman Pike to a standard urban cross-section with a minimum pavement width of 30 feet

Wytheville
- Upgrade Peppers Ferry Road south of I-81 northbound to the Wytheville ECL to a four-lane divided highway. This will include replacing the I-77 and I-81 bridge structures.

- Extend Spring Street from 11th Street to East Main Street. Completion of this project will allow East Main Street to function as a local business access roadway.

Contact your local legislators to find out what projects in your area are in jeopardy due to limited funding.
