- Expand public transportation routes and levels of service

- Expand para-transit for the disabled throughout the region

Bedford
- Widen Independence Boulevard from East Main Street to Forest Road

- Implementation of the TransDominion rail service connecting Bristol to Richmond and Washington, DC. This project involves building a train station downtown in the vicinity of Bridge and Depot streets.


Blacksburg/Christiansburg
-Upgrade Glade Road to current VDOT two-lane standards and add bicycle lanes and sidewalks because bicyclists frequently use the road

- Provide transit service from Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Radford to the Christiansburg train station to accommodate riders of the proposed TransDominion rail service. In addition, improve the Christiansburg train station and rail infrastructure to accommodate a stop for the proposed TransDominion rail service.

- Develop regional paratransit service to include Christiansburg and additional areas of Montgomery County
